Sudden onset of severe shortness of breath. Ambulance ride and 3 days in hospital with diagnosis of CHF/DCM possibly from virus. Had some PVCs that cardiologist said no worries. Sent home with a life vest, heart meds and low sodium diet. EF was 10-15 and increased to 45 within 3 mos.

Started feeling fatigue and echo showed EF decreased to 30. Learned I was in bigeminy and was the first time I heard of it. Many, many heart tests...stress, nuclear, CAT, MRI...you name it, I had it. Hotter monitor showed 30,000 PVCs a day. EPs couldn't figure out where they were coming from. Stayed in bigeminy continually and was exhausted. EP scheduled ablation.
