On August 17, 2011 my house was robbed because my 18 year old step son helped thugs he met at the park break into my house while my husband and I were working. He ended up being assaulted with a broken jaw (his wisdom teeth were pulled the day before). Keep in mind he always had behavioral and emotional disorders due to abuse by his bio mom as a baby/toddler.
Both our laptops were stolen and I lost pictures that were not backed up of my two kids. I was almost unconsolable over my pictures.

I began having debilitating vertigo in which I couldn't work, drive, or function for almost a week. I was completely bed ridden. I saw an ER doctor, my GP and an ENT with no clue what the cause was. It went away eventually but not completely. I grew accustom to feeling off balance and it became the new normal for me by February of 2012.

I began experiencing tachycardia even at rest (didn't know that word at the time). It would begin and end suddenly. It was familiar in that I had it before with panic attacks and anxiety only now it appeared to come along all on its own with no other symptoms and out of nowhere. Im sure there was underlying anxiety over the events of the last part of the year prior but it still felt alarming. I went to my GP and he gave me low dose inderal, 10mg to take as needed when the tachycardia hit. He also gave me prilosec for heart burn that he said may be associated with the tachycardia and advised I continue to take xanax as needed since the tachycardia also seemed to occur from being easily startled (as in when a door opens or my phone rings). I was leary of the prilosec since I had taken it before in 2010 and while on it that was the only time I had ever felt a PVC and they stopped when I stopped the prilosec. I only had maybe 10 PVC's over a 2 week period at that time and disregarded them to reflux, had no idea it was my heart.

I began feeling PVC's the night of June 10. By 2:00 AM they were so constant, I did not know what they were I went to ER. Was told I was having PVC's and was referred to a Cardiologist by my GP at apt following ER visit.
I stopped taking the inderal and the prilosec as I felt one of them must have triggered this. Then remembered this was similar to the sensation I had on prilosec before in 2010.
