LanemanUser Since: Oct 2016Posts: 3Hi everyone,

New member with a bad case of PVC's. I get them day and night, sometimes every 3rd or 2nd beat. I just started Beta Blockers two weeks ago, then found this site yesterday. The Propranol makes me feel horrible but is helping at least enough so I can sleep. I just started Potassium Gluconate 99 mg pills, taking 4 a day spread out for now. Also started sub lingual B-12 as another poster mentioned. I hope I improve and can get off the Beta's. Has anyone gotten off the meds and if so how did you wean off? By the way, I think I got my PVC's from living in a moldy house for 5 years. I am out of the house now but very ill, trying to get better.

Cubsfan3User Since: Apr 2013Posts: 28I was on 25 mgs of a beta blocker. They did nothing for me at all in terms of decreasing my pvcs. The only thing I did notice was that it lessened the force of the pvcs. If you are looking to stop taking them you have to talk to your doctor to come up with a plan. You cannot just quit them cold turkey as this is very dangerous; especially with higher dosages. I will tell you the one thing that does work for me is drinking coconut water which has a lot of potassium.

LanemanUser Since: Oct 2016Posts: 3Thanks Cubsfan. I have started the potassium glyconate and bumped up the magnesium I was already taking, pus I added B-12 spray morning and night under the tongue. One week later the pvc's are almost gone, but I am still on beta blockers. I plan to slowly decrease the beta blockers and see how I do.
