I was wondering if anyone here who has pvcs has had any surgery or gone under any kind of anesthesia? I am suppose to have foot surgery, but I'm afraid to go under anesthesia for fear that my heart will have episodes while I'm under and I don't know how the addition of the anesthesia to my body will play into that. On the same thought process, I'm afraid to have novicaine at the dentist because I know novicaine can cause the heart to race, and again....fearful of how this may affect the pvc's.

Thanks!

Had surgery on my knee about 2 years ago. And i'm still breathing ;-). Just tell the doc your concerns. You're probably not the first person with PCV's that is going under surgery ;-).

Good luck Lisa!
