Lost my brother, lost a job and terrible marriage issues. They found nothing wrong with me and said I had extreme anxiety. I got meds for the anxiety. Then 3 years ago I started getting them again even though I didn't have stress in my life. I thought my weight and eating habits were to blame so I started eating healthy, exercising and lost a ton of weight. I lost 137lbs in 22 months. I ate extremely good but yes I did still have the palpitations. I had them when I exercised and they scared me. I thought I was going to die of a heart attack. I chose to not see a dr and thought if I continued with a healthy life style that they would go away. I also gave up caffeine for 3 years. Then last year I got pregnant. I didn't notice all that many of the palpitations while being pregnant. Then I had terrible labor with a lot meds and a c section. After the surgery I started having them the whole day everyday. I gave my sister in law my wrist and she could feel the skipped beat. It freaked her out. I thought it was just a result of a major surgery so I didn't see a dr for them. Then I had a abscess in my stomach and continued to get them even in the hospital but told no one. I'm scared to death of finding out something horrible like my heart is bad or something. Three weeks ago they started up again. I have noticed something. Caffeine does aggravate them, stress does, and when my my bp is high. However when I was losing weight there didn't seem anything that could cause them. I go to the drs for the first time on Monday to find out. I'm assuming I have these pvcs. Is there anything natural that can help them? I'm reading magnesium and potassium? They freak me out. I'm constantly checking my heart rate. I want a normal beating heart. How do you live with them and not worry all the time? |
