michjim72User Since: Oct 2013Posts: 2Hello everyone. Im new to this site and I think its great. I have been to the ER twice out of panic in the last 2 weeks. Nothing like thinking you are having a heart attack to aggravate an already scary situation. I had an overnight stay in observation and a stress echo, bloodwork, the whole nine yards. Everything is fine they say, I have PVC's. My sister has them too which I didnt know and she takes a med for them. Ive felt them before but just a skip here and there. Now I get them every day, sometimes accompanied by lightheadedness. They always seem to start when Im driving a car or walking around. Its just the weirdest thing. Does anyone else have the same issue where it seems to be one activity or another that kicks them off? Im afraid to go for a long walk or work out now for fear that something bad will happen. I'm going to cut way back on alcohol and caffeine and see if it helps. Also scheduled for a sleep study as I may have sleep apnea and that can be a cause as well I hear. Frustrated.

miss spice bombUser Since: Jun 2013Posts: 47Hey :-)
I get pvc's all day,but sometimes if I've been sitting down not having that many, getting up can trigger more of them!!
And it happens the other way around sometimes!!
I quit trying to understand why pvc's happen at certain times because it drives you round the twist!!
You just have to keep telling yourself they are not gonna harm you!!
Easier said than done,I know!! They can be quite annoying especially when your trying to sleep!!
Take care :-)

michjim72User Since: Oct 2013Posts: 2Thanks for the response Spice. Things are going a little better lately. My doc put me on a beta blocker and that seems to be doing the trick for now. I still get them when Im doing something that will bring them on. If I drink the night before then the morning after I get a little spell, or if I dont get enough sleep at night. The spells are less frequent and much shorter in duration than they have been. If it remains this way this is something I can deal with. Take care.
