I thought I'd share my own PVC experience and possible cure. Perhaps it might help someone else.
About three years ago I began experiencing PVCs after riding up a long hill on my bicycle. They lasted for two and a half years until early February of this year (2013). They were very disturbing and occurred from 1 to 7 or more times every single minute for that whole time. Sometimes they where light, but other times they felt like something kicking hard inside my chest.
Last summer I worked for a couple of months repairing my outside wooden house deck. I worked on my knees during that time, and in the process, I apparently injured my left knee. It became swollen and very sore. In fact, it hurt with a sharp pain for the next 5 months. I checked the internet and learned that Cod Liver Oil was supposed to be good for knee pain, so I began taking 1000 mg. per day. I couldn't detect any improvement in 2 weeks, so I began to also take Target's brand Triple Strength Glucosamine Chondroitin (2 caplets per day (1 after breakfast & 1 after dinner)). I didn't really expect it to work, but within a few days my knee pain began to subside (and within a month was 90% better).
BUT LISTEN TO THIS! TWO WEEKS AFTER I STARTED TAKING THE GLUCOSAMINE CHONDROITIN, MY PVCS STOPPED!!!
COMPLETELY! Then two and a half months after my PVCs stopped (and my knee was 99% better) I stopped taking the Cod Liver Oil and the Glucosamine Chondroitin. That was April 23, 2013. Today is July 7, 2013 and the PVCs are still gone and my knee is still fine.
I have no idea how or why this stuff stopped my PVCs, but maybe it might help someone else too. Be careful that you don't take too much Cod Liver Oil, because too much Vitamin A is toxic. Also, I think Target's Triple Strength Glucosamine Chondroitin is basically the same as the Osteo Biflex Triple Strength.
Good luck, and let me know if anyone else is helped by this. GARY

PVCManUser Since: Oct 2009Posts: 228Hi triplex,

Thanks for this information. I originally put my PVCs down to a lack of absorption of nutrients and while I still stand by that, I also know that you need to be ingesting the right type of nutrients in the first place.

I recently had quite a relapse in PVCs mainly due to being very busy, stressed and poor diet. So I am about to get back on track and will definitely give this a try.

I too cycle a lot, and yesterday did a 100 mile ride and my knees are suffering today. As well as reviewing my posture on the bike, I am also going to try some supplements. So those you have mentioned above are a great starting place.

Thanks
Phil
