Can anyone explain?

To my knowledge, "ectopic" and "arrhythmia" is a collective name for any type of irregular heart beat.

PVCs and PACs are the most common (or may even be the only ones).

A PVC originates in the ventricles (bottom heart chambers) PACs in the Atria (the top part).

Yes AndyRew, I believe so.

By the way, I haven't seen you here for a while. How are things?

Many thanks...

To be honest, I forgot I signed up for the site. It's only because of the redesign and the email I received because someone replied to one of my original posts that I remembered it and came back.

This site has changed. The information here is really great, but it seems a bit underused, which is a shame! :-(

Yes it is underused. I have been re-designing the site with new ideas in mind.

Please come back whenever you can, because I have quite a few plans for the future.
