quantavUser Since: Jun 2013Posts: 5 | I've had PVCs for over 10 years. Started when I was 28 years old as a tiny flutter. When it was bad I would get them when I got up suddenly from sitting on the ground or squatting. I could feel my heart beating strongly and then a sudden pause followed by a strong beat and then resumption of the normal rhythm. When it was really bad I sometimes had two in a row. Anxiety worsens the situation but is not the cause. The cure for me has been following a plant based diet. The cure for pvcs is a strict regimen of no oils, no fats, only plant based foods. You can find details if you search for Esselstyn diet. President Clinton follows it as do other heart attack sufferers. It can reverse atherosclerosis. Now I don't have any blockages or heart disease but nonetheless out of fear from the PVCs I started the Esselstyn diet and after about 3 weeks I was feeling better. By cure I mean having so few that you don't notice or they're so small that they're barely nonexistent. I'll post back my findings after a month to let you know how I'm doing. I plan is to return to my old one hour a day (6 miles) jogging routine! |
