It's interesting, because many PVC/Ectopic sufferers complain of digestive issues along with their arrhythmias. In the last few months, I also have had quite a relapse of ectopics, and I had not been taking apple cider vinegar. I am quite fit now, so I tend to get less heartburn, but I still suffer a little.
I have now started taking Apple Cider Vinegar once again, but because I don't suffer as bad as before with heartburn, I often forget. So I am going to keep this site up to date with my progress because I think it's a good opportunity to research the issue.
As far as dosage, I typically take it when I get heartburn, and I have a neat shot of it (about 20 ml) followed by a small glass of low-fat milk or water. But it is not very palatable and needs getting used to. Try not to gulp it, because you don't want to choke on it.
When I first started taking ACV, the heartburn relief was pretty quick, but it took a month or two before it really started to help the PVCs.
Also, be aware that not everyone has success with vinegar, some have even reported it exacerbates their heartburn. So it's really down to the individual to find what works for them.
I hope this is of use.
Phil
