tverdeyUser Since: Jan 2014Posts: 9I would like to mention that I found a cure for my PVC's. I read that taking Hawthorn helped most people having PVC's.
So after having PVC's for 10 years and using Atenolol to treat them, I started taking a STANDARDIZED Hawthorn Extract supplement (You may need to take more or less than what is the Suggested Use). After 4 to 6 weeks my PVC's were completely gone. I still get an occasional PVC that everyone gets, but not the constant runs experienced by PVC's sufferers. I hope this helps as it did for me...

I have tried hawthorn tea but not the capsules. Where did you get the supplements from & can I use any kind eg as in brands?

tverdeyUser Since: Jan 2014Posts: 9As long as a brand is standardized, it should be ok. Research the company. I use Bluebonnet brand. Just be aware that Hawthorn can also cause PVC's, so don't exceed the recommended dosage...

Fantasic!!!!
I hope it stays that for you. Thank you again for your response. I have just started taking magnesium taurate 400mg daily & apple cider vinegar 2 teaspoons after meals. I will try this for a few weeks, if I get no joy then I will definitely try the hawthorn supplements.

How quick was the results? Four to six weeks for maximum results but did u feel a reduction first or did it just stop all together between four to six weeks?

tverdeyUser Since: Jan 2014Posts: 9Bluebonnet Hawthorn is (1) capsule, which gives you 200mg of Hawthorn Flower, Leaf Extract and 150mg of Hawthorn Berry Extract. If you use a non-standardized formula, the dosage may be up to 600 mg, (1) capsule 3x a day. And non-standardized formulas can vary from bottle to bottle. That's why I prefer the standardized formula... cost more, but you get what you pay for.

You may get results sooner than 4 weeks, but sometimes it takes a while for the level of Vitexin to reach the level that your heart needs for the PVC's to stop... or at least not be so bothersome.

If you do the research, you will see that in Europe, they have been using Hawthorn for Heart Failure for a long time.
Makes you wonder why our cardiologists don't suggest this supplement unless you bring it to their attention.
Mine said I could use it... and that he had many patients using it!!!
